is someone calling?

No one is born free. Trying to be scientific for every fact, sometimes leads you to baseless reasons or leaves you spell bound for the reasons of certain things are far beyond our comprehension. Tired of answering to the WHY of praying, i was pushed away from the conventional paths to temple. There used to be this Lord Jagannath temple, back at home. I took her with me, it was 7:30 in the evening. She prayed, i could just stare and stand out. She insisted me to come in with her and pray. I never got an internal feeling to do the same. I was standing before HIM with HIS thoughts but hands spread apart, showing no signs of prayer. I tried it at the Church, Mosque and temple ... but ......

Indians have deep belief in the religion and its sometimes wonderful to see the pious relations we have amongst. The bond has a different meaning. Though not as scientific like the westerns which portrays more of a mutual understanding and compromise, the relations we have with our parents, siblings, wife .. whatever is more of humane. I cant say if its going to stay the same for long cuz the modernisation hasn't spared our thoughts as we try to imitate the west every now and then. It might be a harsh truth, but we fail to imitate the best things from them instead.

The belief of being destined rises from the talks of aged Indian grandma's who carry a strong belief in HIM. They say if you are destined to visit the pious places in your life you will. You cannot plan for a trip to the Ganga's or Lord Jagannath's and get it accomplished. I never believed it but now standing in the cold chilling waters of Ganga with naked foot i look back to how it went and where i am. Its cold underneath my foot with the waters rushing through so fast from between my toes, you tend to travel back in time to all those people who have been a part.

Wished my for my mom, dad, kiddie, her, those teachers, those kids who can hardly cover up their bodies ..... all those who have been with me .. to be there with me to feel what i felt. I close my eyes and their faces slide right in front of me. The water is no more cold. Even her face doesn't stay for long. It fades away. There's utter silence.

I cant feel the flowing water nor the decreasing temperature anymore except for the imaginary safron sheets covering the saints which i see through the minds eye. Suddenly i realise being blank inside with no thoughts! It dark and cold within. I sense its nothing. Probably its not in the paperback books can we find reasons for everything. There's something we cant think of ... Even if any one makes an effort for you to understand the bigger whole you wont. Like Robin's "The monk who sold his ferari" .. which might turn out to be just another motivating book on shelf with rare truth and all fantasy for some.

Is someone calling me up there to the cold mountains .. to dwell there forever and never come back ... may be to satisfy all queries i hold within .. i don't know ... how can it be false cuz from within this force pulls me towards the silent mountains. The looks of those sparkling eyes of the yogis who have spent entire lives for nothing amazes me. So contend .. so simple .. so confident. Probably calling us to see it through their minds .... I cant explain it in words. But for 2 hours all these dragged me close .. so close but for the responsibilities and duties i couldn't but stop.
