Silent Spaces

Things have started becoming mundane suddenly ... i want to speak out a lot of things .. thoughts not alien but of yours keep me bound and engaged most of the time. Its been a couple of weeks you left .. and the conversations haven't been so frequent .. we got boundaries .. a few days back i was feeling the same thing .. which pulled me back from calling you cuz i sensed that the time we had together was decreasing ..

You tend to miss all .. when its all gone .. cry hard .. its not going to come back. A friend far in Chennai, calls up, and says he's getting close to someone .. the other being is transferred and is undergoing a psychological trauma cuz of some immature instances in her family, she cant help it and is moving north. They spend time together .. may be an hour on the beach .. exchanging thoughts .. a lifetime of thoughts .. No one knows if they meet the next time.

He asks me if i should bid farewell before she moves out or should i visit my parents. I am awed. Am afraid ... I never had a chance to explain anything .. could jst spend a few moments a fraction of a day .. we spoke not much .. we shared an autorikshaw .. she bid farewell .. i went along leaving a favourite book of mine with her .. and grabbing the choclate she had given me. I own the wraper still .. Never could spend much time .. but this day she's no longer there .. shes far away as she had been .. i dont know if i can see her again or engage into a conversation .. i am not sure what will be of her or what will be of me .. till i get into those silent spaces of mine ... her voice is clear .. so is her smile .. it all keeps me awake and energitic. Am sure missing it and so it will be ..

Dear, you don't get to lock time, nothing stands true .. except for that moment where thers something that comes from within .. you can always visit your parents at any point of time .. but what is for sure is may be you wont see her again .. after she has left .. so spend this certain moment critically such that you don't fall into your silent spaces like me .. and contemplate think rethink .. cuz at that point you own nothing, its all gone probably.

And may be you start realizing what Gulzar writes in Aandhi, "Tere bina jindagi se koi .. shikwa to nahin .. shikwa nahin .. tere bina jindagi bhi lekin jindagi to nahin .."
